Poor string condition, incorrect setup or minor electronic issues can make an instrument unnecessarily difficult and uninspiring. A properly adjusted guitar should feel comfortable, responsive and enjoyable every time you pick it up.

I offer a range of maintenance services from routine restrings and setups to common electronic repairs and hardware replacements.

Available for both acoustic and electric guitars. 

Basic setup - £45

​

Ideal for regular maintenance and general playability adjustments.

Typically includes:

​

  • Restring*

  • Full clean

  • Fretboard conditioning

  • Intonation adjustment

  • String height set to your preference

Full Setup – £65

 

A more comprehensive service for instruments that need additional attention.

Typically includes:

​

  • Restring*

  • Full clean

  • Fret polish

  • Fretboard conditioning

  • Intonation adjustment

  • String height set to your preference

  • Truss rod adjustment (if required)

  • Electronics check

Additional Services

  • Volume and tone pot replacement

  • Pickup replacement

  • Jack socket repair or replacement

If your instrument requires more specialised work (such as refrets, structural repairs, finish restoration or amplifier repairs), I’m happy to recommend trusted local specialists.

*Cost of standard strings is included. Coated or specialist strings may incur an additional charge.
