ABOUT GREG
I am a self employed guitarist and tutor, teaching from my studio in Huncote, Leicestershire. I began teaching 12 years ago and find it hugely rewarding. I have been the resident guitar teacher at Bosworth Academy in Desford for over 10 years having previously taught at The Lancaster School in Leicester. In that time I have had the pleasure of helping many young people prepare for their music GCSE's, A Levels and college auditions. I also have experience teaching people with special educational needs, large groups and even retiree's in their 80's! I have an enhanced CRB/DBS disclosure and as a member of the Musicians Union, I have extensive public liability insurance.
I am hugely passionate about music and guitar playing. My aim is to pass on the knowledge and skills I have acquired in my 25 years as a guitar player. Every student learns at a different pace but anyone can learn to play the guitar. I firmly believe there is no 'one size fits all' method to learning or teaching the guitar, my lessons are tailored to each individual and we will work at a pace that suits you using the music that inspires you!

To make guitar playing as pleasurable and as easy as possible, it's important to keep your guitar well looked after. A simple restring and set up can transform the playability of your instrument! I'm happy to offer a full restring and setup service at very competitive rates, as well as electrical repairs and pick-up replacement.
